Dear Parishioners,
Thank you for your understanding as we work toward getting the heat operational in the church.
The New HVAC replacement unit was ordered in late April with the expectation that it would be installed in October, before the weather turned cold.
We were recently notified that supply chain issues have pushed the delivery and install of the new HVAC unit to mid- November.
In early October, we ordered an obsolete part to get the current unit up and running with the thought that it would be delivered and installed within 10 days. Once again, supply chain issues have arisen, and the part is not expected to be installed until next week.
With the current plan of the arrival of the new unit in three weeks, and the costly investment for the part for the current system, the decision was made to wait for the new unit rather than spending a hefty sum to install an obsolete part that will be demolished next month.
We plan to keep the vestibule units on 24/7 with the interior doors of the church open in the hope that this will minimize the major chill, especially for the morning Masses.
In the meantime, I thank you for dressing warmly!
