Abortion Laws Pending in the Maryland General Assembly 2021
Maryland General Assembly representatives are actively pursuing multiple state laws to expand abortion in the state of Maryland. Maryland already allows abortion at 40 weeks of pregnancy and at the time of birth.
The newest laws will allow the remote sale and distribution of abortion pills and create distribution chains for the drugs. Remote includes public-school nurse’s offices; prisons, and pharmacies. Young girls in Maryland public schools will have access to tax-payer abortion pills.

The Take Action Tab on the Maryland Right to Life website asks pro-life Marylanders to send pre-written emails to Maryland legislators voicing their opposition to expanding abortion in Maryland.Telephone calls are highly encouraged and do not require anyone to debate the issue. The Take Action Tab has the required information about how to telephone your representative.
The St. Raphael Respect for Life Committee appreciates the efforts of parishioners to speak for the pre-born – the holy innocents - who are made in the image and likeness of Christ.
